Forever Manchester Women is an event that is for women in Greater Manchester to come together and feel supported and inspired.
After the success of our pilot event in April, we are pleased to announce that the second event is happening on Wednesday 8th July 2015 at The Ainscow Hotel.
The event is proudly sponsored by Brother UK.
Our next event will be held at the recently opened Ainscow Hotel, ideally situated just a hop, skip and jump from some of Manchester’s brightest lights. Guests will enjoy a summer BBQ on the hotel’s beautiful terrace alongside a welcome drink.
All the attendees will receive 50% off discount cards for The Parlour, the Ainscow’s in-house spa, valid on all treatments Tuesday to Thursday.
Not only do we have a fabulous new venue but we also have some equally top quality speakers. Starting off with the wonderfully inspiring Louise Marshall, who is the Infrastructure & Shared Services Director at Brother UK.
Some of her skills involve identifying and implementing business improvements, with a focus on having strategic insight into operational functions. Louise is also engaged with her local community in Tameside, as a member of the Tameside Enterprise Board, and Chair of the Pride of Tameside Business Awards.
Our next speaker is Francesca Barker. Fran is an ex-offender from Greater Manchester, who, through the power of following her passion of bread making has turned her life around. She is proud to say her life is now drug free, crime fee and dependency free. This has led to the creation of The Barker Baker, a vehicle for positive change to address issues of reoffending, substance misuse and mental health issues.
Fran now dedicates her time to not only creating a successful business but also by giving practical advice to fellow ex-offenders and women about gaining employment, engaging in support and most importantly finding your passion and self-worth to hands-on workshops in the kitchen, learning a skill, working as a team, creating, inspiring and building towards a stable and sustainable future.
Tickets for this event are selling fast. April’s event was a complete sell out, and we expect the same this time around, so don’t hesitate in purchasing yours.
We would like to ask you to join us in coming together to network with other women throughout Greater Manchester and to hear these two women’s stories on 8th July 2015. This event will be held at the Ainscow Hotel, 5pm – 7pm.
