Forever Manchester is delighted to be the chosen charity at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner.

The dinner, which is set to be held on Thursday 19th May at Victoria Warehouse will be raising money for Forever Manchester with a raffle and our Poet in Residence, Tony Walsh will be performing at the largest business dinner in the North West.

The money raised at the event on the evening will go towards grassroots community projects across Greater Manchester, which ties in perfectly with the Chamber awarding its first gift of £1,500 to a local arts group as the winner of the Greater Manchester Emerging Contemporary Arts Prize 2016 is set to be announced.

The event will be a wholehearted celebration of the quality and diversity of Greater Manchester business, with one of the leading architects of future transport plans, Lord Andrew Adonis speaking and DJ/actor Craig Charles DJing at the end of the night.

Lord Adonis is the current Chair of the National Infrastructure Commission and will be making his second appearance at the Chamber event. Craig Charles is best known for playing Dave Lister in the science fiction sitcom Red Dwarf and Lloyd Mullaney in the soap opera Coronation Street and as a funk and soul DJ.
