Five FM skydivers are taking the leap of faith to raise money for Greater Manchester communities this weekend.
We’ve got 5 daredevils taking the plunge on the day including two recruits from the ever-supportive One Advice Group.
Anita Broadbent and Louise Wooler from the Debt Management company will be taking to the skies to raise money for Forever Manchester. They’ve set up a team between them all. If you’d like to help OneAdvice Group, head to their team’s page here.
As well as this, we’ve got our very own Lyndsey Ashworth, Community Building extraordinaire fighting her fear of heights to raise funds for Forever Manchester. Lyndsey first met Forever Manchester as a resident in the Alt area of Oldham, and we liked her so much, she’s now a fully-fledged member of our team.
With this, Lyndsey decided to tackle her fears because of her passion for Forever Manchester. Lyndsey said: “From the very first day of meeting Forever Manchester, they have supported me in everything I have tried to do, from starting my own family group to actually giving me employment. Even though I am absolutely petrified of heights, I love Forever Manchester that much, I am willing to put my fears aside to give back what I can so that Forever Manchester can keep supporting the communities of Greater Manchester the way they supported me.”
If you’d like to sponsor Lyndsey in her quest for giving back to Forever Manchester, head to her JustGiving page here.
Another jumper, Will Lythgoe will be jumping on Saturday in memory of his dad who sadly passed away last year. Will has already raised a brilliant £530 and has hit his £500 target. We wish you the best of luck and we’re sure your dad is proud of what you’re doing to raise funds for your local community! Help him to raise more funds by clicking here.
Our fifth jumper is Laura Collier, who is jumping with Will. Laura is on track to hit her target and says “If watching me absolutely c**p myself isn’t worth a few pounds I don’t know what is!” To contribute to Laura’s efforts visit her JustGiving page.
