Federal Cafe has generously offered to donate 50p to Forever Manchester from every slice of banana bread sold in October.
The generous donation comes as part of Caketober, a month long celebration of cake where we invite community groups and Greater Manchester businesses to get involved by baking, dressing up and raising some dough (sorry) for community projects across Greater Manchester.
Federal is an antipodean style coffee shop with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, serving speciality coffee and quality food in Manchester City Centre’s Northern Quarter.
Their coffee is from Ozone Coffee Roasters in London and as well as their house blend, they also serve a range of seasonal single origin coffees, giving you the opportunity to create your own delicious perfect brew.
To complement the drink selection they offer a simple brunch menu including breakfast staples such as Eggs Benedict and their signature French toast. Federal Cafe prides itself on using fresh ingredients and local suppliers. There is always an impressive cake selection too, lovingly baked in-house by their chefs!
So if you’re in the Northern Quarter throughout October, grab a slice of the action and purchase their delicious banana bread, which will help us to raise £10,000 this Caketober.
Huge thank you goes to Federal Cafe for their generous donation. We’re now hoping other cafes will follow suit.
If you’re a local café, restaurant or hotel in the Greater Manchester area and want to do something similar for Caketober then please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org.
