FC United are staging their first annual Beer Festival at Broadhurst Park between Friday 17th – Sunday 19th June as part of Manchester Beer Week and are kindly selling our ‘Ten Boroughs Pale Ale’ brewed by Manchester Brewing Company.
From every pint sold, Manchester Brewing Company will be donating money back to Forever Manchester to support local community projects. Read more here.
Since FC United moved to their new ground in Moston in May 2015, Forever Manchester have worked closely with FC United’s community team to deliver a number of activities for the local community. This is part of Forever Manchester ‘Fourteen’ programme where the adjoining neighbourhoods of Harpurhey and Moston will receive a minimum of £200,000 in funding over three years to increase community participation and improve well-being.
FC United’s Beer Festival aims to bring together people from the local and wider community who have a shared passion for beer and football.
For just £5 you’ll get ticket entrance, an FC-themed pint glass, a programme and entertainment. Guided tours of the ground are also included for those not familiar with the country’s ’Best New Non-League Stadium 2015/16’. What’s more, all tickets will also be put into a draw to win a framed, signed FC shirt.
Breweries from across Greater Manchester are fermenting and fine-tuning their craft and heritage beers, many of which are only available for Manchester Beer Week. There will also be craft lagers and ciders, all of which can be supped as pints or half pints.
A slew of epic Mancunian brewers are going to be involved on the day but make sure you sample our Ten Boroughs Pale Ale.
Joining Manchester Brewing Company is Joseph Holts, Blackjack, Track, Squawk, JW Lees, Cloudwater, Alphabet, Runaway, The 99 Brew Company, Bootleg and Ticketybrew.
FC United’s Beer Festival takes place between Friday 17th – Sunday 19th June with tickets available for four sessions over the 3 days.
Thanks to all involved – we’ll be down there too.
