For the second year running our brilliant friends at Express Solicitors are joint winners of our Cool Runnings award for raising the most at the Manchester 10k in May.

Their superb sixteen-strong team raised an award-winning £2,477.09 – 103% of the target they set themselves. This amount made them in the top 1% of the whole of JustGiving for that month!

But that’s only part of their story. As well as taking part in lots of Forever Manchester-arranged events, they are planning a hair-raising sky dive in September to raise even more money for local community initiatives as well as raising money for us at their own Summer Party.

Express Solicitors, based in Northenden and with a satellite office in Wythenshawe, has supported us for over two years and the money they raise is directed to community projects right on their doorstep in South Manchester.

James Maxey, Managing Partner of Express Solicitors, said: “As an organisation that helps people throughout England and Wales, we are proud of our Manchester roots and take great pride in the fact that the both the company and the people who work here get involved with activity that directly helps improve places where many of our employees and their families live. Having fun while raising money for a good cause is a great way to motivate staff at the same time. I am really proud of the team and of the amount they have raised for Forever Manchester.”
