Manchester’s brilliant DoveTales are returning to The Eagle Inn in Salford on Friday 6th December 2019.
Fusing harmonic rock, folk and country with soulful lyrics, DoveTales have earned themselves an impressive following across Manchester and beyond.
They consider The Eagle to be their second home following their sold-out show last December and a number of successful gigs at the venue throughout 2019.
The band includes former Happy Mondays collaborator and guitarist Johnny Evans (Happy Mondays, The Hippy Mafia, The Sylvia’s), Stef Rose – Vocals & Guitar (Wild Ginger, The Sylvia’s) Chris Joyce – Drums (Simply Red, Duritti Column, The Mighty Wah), Victor ‘Fela’ Freeman – Bass.
Talking excitedly about DoveTales’ upcoming show, Finnish singer-songwriter Stef said: “We can’t wait to return to The Eagle. It’s a quirky venue and we felt the love at our December gig last year and know this year will be better again. The band are as energetic as ever and the bond we have is sure to make the upcoming show special.”
Fuelled by a shared love of great music and Indian food, DoveTales generate a compelling mix of rock, harmony, country and life to deliver a treasure trove of original and infectious songs with soul searching lyrics and beautiful harmonies delivered effortlessly in an intimate atmosphere full of honesty and charm.
And being the season for goodwill and charitable giving, this show will be in support of Forever Manchester and helping us to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.
