Manchester’s brilliant DoveTales returned to The Eagle in Salford for a gig on Friday 6th December 2019 and donated ticket sales which raised a fabulous £375 for Forever Manchester to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester.
The band who fuse harmonic rock, folk and country with soulful lyrics, have earned themselves an impressive following across Manchester and beyond.
DoveTales include former Happy Mondays collaborator and guitarist Johnny Evans (Happy Mondays, The Hippy Mafia, The Sylvia’s) Stef Rose – Vocals & Guitar (Wild Ginger, The Sylvia’s)
Chris Joyce – Drums (Simply Red, Duritti Column, The Mighty Wah) & Victor ‘Fela’ Freeman – Bass, whom collectively claim their songs are fuelled by a shared love of great music and Indian food!
DoveTales generate a compelling mix of rock, harmony, country and life to deliver a treasure trove of original and infectious songs with soul searching lyrics and beautiful harmonies.
Forever Manchester would like to send sincere thanks to DoveTales and everyone who attended the gig for this valued support, which is very much appreciated.
