Our Community Builders, Helen Smith and Graeme Urlwin featured on That’s Manchester TV this week.

That’s Manchester TV is a local news channel new to Freeview channel 8 and they featured our community builders to get more information on the work Forever Manchester is doing in Moston and Harpurhey.

The Fourteen project will see Forever Manchester distribute £200,000 over the next three years in Moston and Harpurhey, which is one of fourteen communities to benefit from funds from the Spirit of 2012 Trust. Fourteen is a £3.5m programme funded by Spirit of 2012, a charity set up by the Big Lottery Fund to connect events to communities across the country. Events such as Glasgow 2014 and London 2012 are remarkable in their ability to bring people together: inspiring pride through the power of participation.

Community Builder, Graeme Urlwin has been employed to work in these areas to ensure we can connect with and get to know residents in the area to see what it is they want to change.
