All tickets for Saturday’s Art Battle Manchester V, in which Forever Manchester is the chosen charity partner, have now been sold.
Top street artists behind some of Manchester’s most recognised graffiti, often painted anonymously under a cover of darkness, will compete in public for the very first time at Art Battle V – an event that sees painters and illustrators compete against each other and the clock, in front of a captive audience, for what’s set to be the biggest and best Art Battle yet.
Never held in the same venue twice, Art Battle V will commence at AWOL Studios’ The Engine Room art space in Hope Mill, Anocats; this is the first location offering both indoor and outdoor battle zones. Hope Mill is an A grade II-listed warehouse just 6 minutes walk from Manchester Piccadilly, its 400-strong capacity allows for the largest Art Battle audience so far, whilst the outside space will stage a rare insight into the creative process of Manchester’s finest street artists, unmasked as they craft works of art for all to see.
All artwork produced on the night will be placed under the hammer in a silent charity auction with the proceeds split between the artists themselves and Forever Manchester for us to reinvest in community projects across Greater Manchester.
