Tonnes of our corporate supporters were busy throughout the month of March. We’d like to say thank you to the following companies:
Harrington Brooks, part of the One Advice Group hosted a charity comedy evening on 10th March at the Frog and Bucket on Oldham Street in Manchester to raise money for Forever Manchester.
The evening raised an incredible £220 for Forever Manchester, taking their total fundraising amount to nearly £2,500 for us since they began supporting us in September 2014.
Weber Shandwick, who recently sponsored our Corporate Supporter of the Year Award at our 25th birthday invited us to their offices to discuss fundraising ideas and share their PR expertise on how we can make our brand even better. The PR company also hopes to get some staff to run the 10k to support Forever Manchester.
The Hill Group Limited who are our newest Corporate Supporters, and have committed to a monthly direct debit supporting us.
We also want to say a huge thanks to the businesses that supported The Mirror Ball. These companies were Serco, The Mullwood Partnership, Irwin Mitchell, Neighbourhood, QDos Fitness and Wild Spritz.
Thanks also goes to Carl Sukonik of The Vain Photography, who has attended both The Mirror Ball and Forever Manchester’s 25th birthday in the last two months and provided us with excellent photos in the process.
Manchester Arena again donated tickets for a gig at their arena. 100 tickets for McBusted on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd March were donated to community groups across Greater Manchester, which were handed out by our staff to a variety of people. This comes after they donated 100 tickets for The X Factor Live Tour earlier this year, which the groups also loved!
Clough & Willis raised £350 at their annual quiz night on 19th March. 32 local businesses took part in the quiz, and all proceeds came to Forever Manchester.
Express Solicitors have committed to supporting Forever Manchester until August 2016. They have raised £11k for us since our relationship began and we are over the moon.
The Gate Films held a cake sale and did a Twitter auction for VIP tickets for Manchester United, raising £125 for us.
Forever Manchester would like to say a huge thank you to all of these businesses for doing their bit to help the communities where their staff work, play and love this month.
