Over 60 runners ran for round ‘ere in the Great Manchester 10k Run on Sunday 22nd May 2016 to raise money to help us support community projects across Greater Manchester.
Our fantastic runners have so far raised over £7,000 – an incredible achievement! We’re delighted to be able to reinvest this back into the communities of Greater Manchester.
The Great Manchester Run is the largest in Europe; it’s so successful in fact that next year Great Run will host a half marathon on the same day as the 10k. This year, over 35,000 individuals participated.
Huge thanks to the following people who took part in the run on Sunday 22nd May for Forever Manchester:
Chris Marsh, Darren Ratcliffe, Andrew and Jodi Hamilton, Kenneth O’Donnell, Holly Walker, Andrew Gamble, Kimberley and Rosie Strickleton, Sally Squires, Hazel McGurty, Helen Smith and Angela Davies.
