Tonight (19th June) will see the launch of new book ‘Inspirational Women’, celebrating the achievements of 18 women in Bolton.

The book has been produced by the WiN (Women in Neighbourhoods) Network as a way of profiling and celebrating the work they are doing in their local communities. Included in the book is Forever Manchester Community Builder Lyndsey Ashworth. It was created on a voluntary basis by Gulnaz P. Brennan and BEE magazine.

Gulnaz from Great Level attended the original 5-day WiN session set up by Forever Manchester back in January this year. Gulnaz was immediately hooked on the idea of Women in Neighbourhoods, and couldn’t wait to implement what she’d learnt into her own neighbourhood.

The book is free, and is available at the launch event at 7pm at Slaterfield Community Hall in Bolton.

Gulnaz P. Brennan, MD of Asian Women’s magazine BEE, who heads up the network said: “We want to make the creation of the WiN book an annual activity as it is such a great way to showcase these fantastic role models who are making such a difference in their local communities.”
