Why Help?

Without your help and support many of the community groups in our neighbourhoods would simply not exist.

So what?

There are an estimated 20,000 grass root community projects across Greater Manchester. Most of them are run by volunteers who epitomise the unmistakable Mancunian spirit, people who have the guts to stand up and be counted, people who spot things going wrong in their neighbourhoods and want to do something about it, not wait for a government report or a discussion at the local council.

And this is where we come in, we give out grants which allow these inspirational people to set up, or continue to run, amazing community projects that make such a difference to the lives of others.

This is charity the Mancunian way.

All of these projects need funding. By giving to Forever Manchester, you can make sure that projects like this can survive and can make a real difference to our neighbourhoods.
