Forever Manchester is all about people. We’re looking for passionate Mancunians to be part of the movement by putting something back into their community.
Volunteering gives you a great sense of achievement and it’s a chance to meet new people, share your skills and learn new things about where you live or work.
We want to hear from people from all 10 boroughs that make up Greater Manchester. If you’d like to get involved, register your details using your profile and pledge a few hours to the cause to fit around your own commitments.
Once you’ve registered we’ll be in touch with Forever Manchester opportunities. If you want to find out more about The Community Foundation for Greater Manchester’s volunteer scheme click here.
Fundraising
Chances are you already have a good idea about how you’re going to fundraise for Forever Manchester. If not, we’ve made a few suggestions to help you on your way in our Guide to Fundraising.
Workplace Fundraising
Think about how many people work in your office or workplace… if you managed to get all of them involved you could seriously increase the amount you raise.
If you work for a company based on a retail, business or industrial park creating an inter-company challenge or competition is a great way to meet up with similar like-minded people and have fun raising money at the same time. For more fundraising ideas, contact us at info@forevermanchester.com
