The government has given the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester the chance to build a community fund that will exist forever. We’ve called it the Infinity Fund.

For every pound deposited in the Infinity Fund, the government will very kindly match it with another pound. That’s fantastic news and what’s more we can claim gift aid on your donation which means that if you buy something on the forever manchester island for £10 it will be worth £25.60.

Residents, businesses, wealthy individuals and Mancunians all around the world will be asked to support their home and their community with as little or as much as they can afford, weekly, monthly or a big lump sum.

The target is to raise £4.4 million over the next three years, so if you support the movement you can be safe in the knowledge that your contribution will help Manchester… forever!
