Tee Up for FM this June

April 4, 2016

Forever Manchester is delighted to announce that our annual golf day is back again, teeing off at High Legh Park Golf Club in Cheshire on Wednesday 15th June.

High Legh Park has hosted our golf day every year and has always been a great location and course for our supporters.

Our golf day is kindly led by Ambassador Alan Townley once again, who successfully raised £2,000 to support community activity across Greater Manchester with the event last year and plans to better this in 2016!

High Legh Park Golf Club has beautiful natural surroundings. Set in a heavily wooded landscape surrounded by woodland of pine, oak and birch, the course has a gorgeous setting, and with fairways turning both ways, High Legh offers a game with a great variety for all. See the video below to see just how vast this course is:

The course is 18 holes and the day will start with bacon rolls at 9am, with a shotgun start beginning at 9.30am on Wednesday 15th June, finishing with a buffet lunch and mini-awards ceremony at 2.30pm with a 3pm finish.

Smart casual dress is required as well as golf shoes with soft spikes, which much be worn at all times on the course. If the Manchester weather is being kind and realising this event is actually in the summer, then tailored shorts will be permitted with sports socks.

Please note no trainers, jeans, t-shirts without collars, tracksuits or non-tailored shorts are permitted.

Teams are in groups of four and will cost £300, which will include 18-holes and the buffet lunch. If you are interested in registering a team please email cheryl@forevermanchester.com for more information and to be invoiced.

All proceeds will go towards helping Forever Manchester to support local people in communities across Greater Manchester.
