Rich is Managing Director of Six and Flow, a Manchester-based growth and venture marketing agency.

Rich was born in London but grew up in the lovely land of New Zealand but returned “when the call of a pub and a pint was too much to deny”.

Rich moved to Manchester in 2010 after falling in love with the city and even managed to drag his (now) wife North of the Watford Gap to enjoy all things Mancunian with him and they’re now happily settled in Chorlton.

Rich’s career has gone in a few directions to date, originally working as a Designer, then an Entrepreneur before studying a PHD in ‘Play’. Rich then headed up The Media Octopus where he worked with clients such as the Economist and G4S. Now Rich is Managing Director of Six and Flow, a performance-led growth agency that works to achieve a clear return on investment for its clients.

Rich says he doesn’t mind getting muddy or being thrown from a plane (we’ll hold him to that) and hopes to get his team on board raising cash for Forever Manchester.

Of Manchester, Rich says: “Manchester has a very unique and laid-back attitude, with an almost tongue-in-cheek personality, which makes it easy to fall in love with. It’s a very exciting place to be for digital and there’s a bit of an atmosphere of “anything is possible” which gives the city an added buzz. The people in Manchester are awesome and the place is vibrant. Oh, and the football… used to be good.”
