Reforma Movement Theatre to Perform at Birthday Bash

October 28, 2015

Forever Manchester is delighted to announce that Reforma Movement Theatre will be performing at our Birthday Bash.

Reforma is a multidisciplinary issue based company that believes that everybody has the right to freedom of expression.

They have a professional theatre company that is preparing to embark on a 2016 tour of “Butterflys” a piece on domestic abuse.  This year they have also launched their youth company, which engages young people to educate other young people.

They currently have a show called ‘Tiny Army’ about World War II through a child’s eyes throughout October and a dance leadership programme running in the autumn where participants can train and gain qualifications.

Reforma will also be the first dance training centre in the UK dedicated to the development of dance and music for visually impaired and blind children.

Thanks to donations from Forever Manchester supporters, Reforma has been enable to produce a number of youth projects that have ignited and driven them to succeed and get back into education. Funds have given the group the ability to develop their company and now be in a place to offer longevity within the studios for young people to progress and develop.

Heather from Reforma says: “Forever Manchester has been intrinsic to Reforma growing across the North West and we hope to continue to work with them as partners in the future.”

Reforma’s youth group will be performing on the evening of our birthday bash at The Palace Hotel on Friday 5th February 2016.
