Reflecting: A Year Since Phil Jones Appointment
Forever Manchester President, Phil Jones was appointed on 3rd July 2014.
Throughout the year Phil has continually supported us and aided us with our RESET event, which saw many of Manchester’s most successful and forward thinking businesses attend and hear about research produced for Forever Manchester by the UK’s leading independent charitable research and member organisation, think tank CLES (the Centre for Local Economic Strategies).
Phil gave a great speech saying: “As business leaders, we can already see some of the big changes and challenges happening in employee engagement, organisational citizenship and business agility. We all know that it’s no longer just about what an organisation does, but how it aligns its purpose with its people.
“Corporate Citizenship, Employee Engagement and Talent Management are three important pillars of future performance and competitiveness Forever Manchester can play a part in bringing those components to life in your business.”
As well as this speech, Phil has given many great, passionate speeches in the last year as well as engaging his staff at Brother UK, the company where he is Managing Director. They will be sponsoring our Forever Manchester Women event next Wednesday and Louise Marshall, Brother’s Infrastructure & Shared Services Director will be speaking at the event too.
Forever Manchester would like to take this opportunity to thank Phil for the support and awareness he has successfully achieved throughout this year and we look forward to what’s in store for the next year.
