President Phil Jones’s monthly column in Forever Now focussed on the appointment of our new Vice President in July…
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our new Professional Services Sector Vice-President (VP), Steven Lindsay.
You may remember us announcing our search for a number of sector VP’s a couple of months back. The role of the VP is to raise the profile, network, and introduce new corporate supporters of Forever Manchester in a specific sector.
Steven brings with him a wealth of experience, a bulging black book of contacts and a stack of enthusiasm for what Forever Manchester does. By day, Steven is a Partner at Chartered Accountants – CLB Coopers here in Manchester, a Scotsman who has made Manchester his home.
I’m really delighted he has now taken up the Vice-President role and will work alongside me and other key members of the team to assist in the delivery of all the things we commercially need to continue the investments in our local communities. The RESET initiative, continues to be our key message in the way that enlightened businesses see ‘local community engagement’ as their key pillar for talent recruitment and retention, employee engagement and corporate citizenship.
We call it RESET as it modernises the conventions of Corporate Social Responsibility, bringing it bang up to date with the latest thinking, whilst also opening up the possibility for smaller businesses to get engaged.
Until next time
