Last Month’s Busi-Bees

May 9, 2016

Once again, we’ve had a great amount of businesses and individuals shouting about Forever Manchester, raising awareness and funds for community activity across Greater Manchester.

We’d like to say cheers to the following people and businesses…

Refinery raised £120 for Forever Manchester with their Easter campaign.

We were busy on the blue side of town at Manchester City’s fixture v West Brom where 20 kind volunteers helped us raise over £600. They fought the hail, rain and wind to raise this so huge thank you goes to them! Thanks as well goes to the City fans who were kind enough to stop and drop a quid in the boxes of our soaked volunteers!

Helping us with our collection at MCFC was Clothes2Order, who kindly donated the sky blue t-shirts our volunteers donned to attract passing fans.

Huge thanks also goes to George Holden from the Renaissance Manchester, who ran this year’s Manchester Marathon and raised money for us – we hope there was a well-deserved pint at the finish line!

Manchester Arena has kindly donated over 200 tickets over the last few weeks for us to donate to people in the communities we work in in Oldham. These included tickets for teen faves ‘5 Seconds of Summer’ and ‘The Vamps’ – cheers guys!

Business Rocks hosted their first ever conference this April and donated a percentage of tickets sales to us in the process. Congratulations on an incredible event and huge thank you to the Business Rocks team!

Massive thanks to Launch Events NW for nominating Forever Manchester as its chosen charity for their MediaCityUK Expo on 18th May.
