Forever Manchester was delighted to be the chosen charity at a security breakfast seminar hosted by Kyocera Document Solutions at King Street Townhouse on 22nd September 2016.

Guests heard from Kyocera about their security products and the massive cost to companies who have been hacked and lost valuable data. Peter Bassill of Hedgehog Security was the guest speaker on the day and he spoke about the different ways that someone could hack into any kind of device that holds data and how easy it is, unfortunately, to obtain information either from within a building or remotely. Peter kindly provided advice and tips about how to try to avoid being hacked.

Forever Manchester received a cheque for £1,500 from the Director of Sales for Kyocera which comprised the very kind donation of the guest speaker’s fee and a donation from Kyocera themselves.

Kyocera has supported Forever Manchester for the last three years since they opened their flagship technology office in Chancery Place, Booth Street, Manchester.
