Andy Heggs of Drumbeat‘s Hop on the Bike afternoon for us raised a brilliant £400.
The Manchester weather ensured that plenty of people headed to Font in Manchester City Centre to try the keg of Marmalade and Assam Tea IPA put on by Andy’s Hop on the Bike beer and bike enthusiasts.
All proceeds to the sale of the brew came to Forever Manchester as part of the group’s new collaboration with Northern Alchemy.
Andy Aitchinson from Northern Alchemy attended the event to tell people all about the brew and the magic that went into creating it.
Other funds raised came from the raffle, which had fantastic prizes on offer, such as a brew day, tickets for brewery tours and other beer related gifts.
Huge thanks goes to Andy and his team. Every penny raised will stay within the Greater Manchester region and help us to encourage local people to do extraordinary things together.
