The Wythenshawe offices of Hologic, an international company that makes and tests precision medical equipment, have doubled the amount of money they raised for us last year, raising an impressive £2,176 and counting!

As well as holding their Caketober baking event where their own Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood did the judging, they have held a series of their own events throughout the year, including raffles, Christmas collections and lots of other events that the Team Manchester has arranged to raise money for their local communities.

Caroline Wakefield, who used to head up Team Manchester and helped raise over £1,000 for Forever Manchester over the past two years, has now handed the baton to Hayley Chambers, who is now hopefully going to carry on the great work that the guys at Hologic are doing for their local communities.

Hayley said: “I’ve worked at Hologic since 2015 and have recently taken responsibility for Team Manchester’s Corporate Social Responsibility fundraising activity. It’s good to know that the money we raise for charity can be used to directly help communities right on our doorstep.”
