Forever Manchester was delighted to be the nominated charity at the Greater Manchester Chamber’s Annual Dinner on Thursday 19th May.
A fantastic £3,800 was donated by guests attending the event.
Over 600 guests attended the dinner, which took place at Victoria Warehouse. Guests were treated to entertainment an an awards ceremony to celebrate the Greater Manchester business community. The evening also offered keynote speeches, with Lord Andrew Adonis as guest speaker who spoke about transport for the region ahead of the Northern Powerhouse plans. The host for the evening was actor, comedian and DJ, Craig Charles, who also provided the funk and soul DJ set for the after party.
The evening was launched in rousing style by Forever Manchester’s poet in residence, Tony Walsh, with his inspiring reading of our 25th Birthday celebration poem, Silver Sparks.
