GM Business Connect Magazine helped raise £1,216 for Forever Manchester at their Charity Lunch at Hotel Football on Friday 11th September.
Paul Mirage and Jon Cheetham (pictured) have been long standing supporters of Forever Manchester, and have featured us a number of times in their Business to Business Magazine, which was launched in 2013.
The charity lunch, attended by close on 200 local business people coincided with the re-brand of the magazine from Trafford Business Connect to GM Business Connect Magazine.
Forever Manchester was one of 3 beneficiary charities, alongside Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity and the Alex Hulme Foundation.
Phil Jones, Managing Director of Brother UK and President of Forever Manchester, was guest speaker at the event talking about the nature of change in business and the issues concerning leadership within a modern business environment. He also spoke about happiness in the workplace stating that “happy people in happy organisations are available and ready to take on anything.”
The afternoon concluded with a raffle prizes and auction, with the star auction prize being two transatlantic return flights to any destination in the US or Caribbean, to raise money for the chosen charities.
We would like to thank GM Business Connect Magazine for choosing Forever Manchester as one of their charity partners. The money raised will go to support community projects across Greater Manchester.
