FutureShock Raises Funds for FM

August 26, 2016

We are pleased to be the beneficiary charity of Manchester-based FutureShock Wrestling’s ticketed screening of their Twelfth Anniversary Show.

Established in 2004, FutureShock Wrestling is Manchester’s only home-grown and run entertainment wrestling promotion.

They run twelve shows a year: six at the Masonic Guildhall in Stockport and six at The Longfield Suite in Prestwich. Their training school is based in Failsworth and their shows are built around the talent that have graduated from there.

On Monday 5th September, FutureShock will be present the world premiere of their Twelfth Anniversary Show, taking place at Manchester’s FAB Cafe.

The screening follows FutureShock’s incredible show that took place at The Longfield Suite in Prestwich. A rabid crowd of the FutureShock faithful saw six fantastic bouts of hard hitting, heart stopping action that’s made in Manchester. The show will be screened in full on the big screen at FAB Cafe along with all the other screens in the venue. There won’t be a bad seat in the house. They’ll also be joined by many of the stars of FutureShock Wrestling and there are also exclusive prizes to be won.

All proceeds from the £3 ticket sales will go to Forever Manchester to help us support community activity across Greater Manchester.

Chris Brooker of FutureShock Wrestling said: “At FutureShock we’ve always been about bringing people together. At our shows it’s a chance for families, friends and folk of all ages to come together and enjoy a night of hard hitting, heart-stopping action with their own real life superheroes and supervillains. At our training school, The FutureShock Wrestling Academy, it’s all about bringing folk from Manchester together from all walks of life and giving them a chance to push themselves, express themselves and chase their dreams.

Forever Manchester mirrors our ethos with their emphasis on building links and bonds within the community. We’re thrilled to have the chance to work alongside them in the city that’s been our home for the last twelve years.”
