Old Trafford based solicitors Colemans-CTTS embarked on a daunting cycling challenge for Forever Manchester.

The activity was to mark the firm’s 30 year anniversary and they managed to raise a huge £1,053.33 for Forever Manchester.

To celebrate three decades since the firm’s formation, staff from both their Manchester and Kingston offices cycled 215 miles from Surrey to Manchester to help raise funds for both Forever Manchester and Love Kingston.

The cyclists left the firm’s Kingston office at 8.00am on Sunday 3rd August and cycled 110 miles to Midlands town Kenilworth, where they spent the night before completing the second leg of the journey on Monday 4th. The team averaged a speed of 24kph, burned 13,000 calories and consumed 40 cereal bars in their gruelling 14.5 hours of cycling.

Manchester based Roger Coleman, partner in Coleman-CTTS solicitors said: “Four of us did the full ride. It wasn’t a short ride and we understood the challenge ahead, but were looking forward to it. Other members of staff from different offices joined us for shorter sections of the route, so we were well supported.”
