We would like to say a massive congratulations to Amy Coney on the fantastic sale of her “Bee Love” artwork, raising an amazing £7,100. The money will be split between Forever Manchester and the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.

Bee Love was created during a live ten-hour painting session and feature the words of local Manchester poet Tony Walsh’s “This is the Place”, a poem that was originally written for Forever Manchester about the communities in Greater Manchester that we support.

The artwork was put online to be auctioned following the collection of many celebrity signatures. Read more about the story of Bee Love and who signed it here.

Forever Manchester’s Terry Snowden caught up with Amy to find out more about the amazing story and journey the Bee Love canvas took over the last couple of months.
